Then maybe she should recall the truth that Landrieu was the reason FEMA was not allowed into the state NOT BUSH. FEMA was sitting at the border waiting to be allowed in to help but Landrieu wanted an agreement the federal program would be under her control before being allowed in and of course the media covered that part up and blamed Bush for something he could do nothing about....disgusting.

I saw a live press conference in which she was complaining about Bush doing nothing.

A reporter informed her that it was she who had to ask for the federal help, and that none could be sent without her asking.

For a few seconds she had a real "deer in the headlights" look.

I remembered that clearly, as I thought, this was the last time we would ever see that video, it would be buried by the media.
