In South Carolina we ran a bunch of people in a stupid plan to try to beat Graham by keeping his vote total under 50%, instead of running ONE guy to beat him outright.

It appears you are not aware that many of those candidates were propped up by Graham and SCGOPe funds to muddy the primary waters. Difficult to prove, but folks here suspect it.

Yes, SC conservatives were out-maneuvered by the Republican Party elite...again...as many times prior.

Of course, you do know that in SC, the primary system deck is stacked in favor of the Uni-Party in Columbia, don't you. You seem well-informed enough to know that.

“Difficult to prove, but folks here suspect it.”

Suspicion isn’t anything but excuse making.

The plan for SC was articulated here quite clearly, and was not some batty conspiracy.

And if it was, then what does that say about conservatives there that were stupid enough to fall for it?
