ORANGE COUNTY --
A group of good Samaritans are being credited with saving a 76-year-old woman from having her purse stolen by a 23-year-old man in Orange County.
That woman was attacked in the parking lot of the Winn-Dixie grocery store on University Boulevard, near Goldenrod Road Wednesday afternoon.
"I had to do something. Sitting back and watching, it wouldnt feel right. I wouldnt have been able to sleep at night, that could have been my grandmother," said good Samaritan Kendrick Taylor.
In the surveillance video, which was released by the Orange County Sheriff's Office, you can see a 76-year-old woman getting her purse violently snatched.
But luckily for her, deputies said 10 good Samaritans heard her cries for help in the parking lot and they didnt hesitate to act and chased down and tackled the suspect.
