I have been thinking the same. Start over with a clean slate of registered voters.

The rolls need to be cleared every year or two.

Every four years would be often enough, after every presidential election.

Is Democratic ballot box stuffing being done as revenge for G.W. Bush “stealing” the election from Al Gore in the 2000 elections, the Democratic front-ended Progressive Movement outraged for not being able to exercise the popularly, but wrongly perceived powers of the Oval Office?

As a side note to this thread, please consider the following as mentioned in related threads.

Not only have parents in the USA not been making sure that their children are being taught about the federal government’s constitutionally limited powers, but just think of all the immigrants, also freedmen, who come to the USA wrongly thinking that the POTUS has king-like powers when they vote after becoming citizens (ahem).

But also consider that the states have never amended the Constitution to prohibit themselves from requiring candidate voters to pass a basic constitutional law test before being allowed to vote. Such a test could emphasize the federal government’s constitutionally limited powers and associated limited power to lay taxes. Such a test would also arguably keep voters on their guard with respect to corrupt federal politicians who try to win votes by promising voters federal spending programs if elected, programs which are actually constitutionally indefensible for the federal government to administer.

A basic constitutional law test could consist of as few as 10 true / false questions and be administered as part of a driver’s license test.

I hate these stories. Big stink now when it’s too late to do anything about it in 2014. Couldn’t run these stories years ago when there was a chance to maybe fix the problem?

For “non-citizen immigrants” read illegals ineligible to vote.

And welcome to the United States of Democrat-controlled Mexico.

This is reminiscent of the days when they wanted to count their slaves as votes. Maybe they will settle for counting each illegal as three-fifths of a vote.
