Give her a few years and she will do anything to be noticed.
The real purpose of this video was to get Miss Roberts noticed by Hollywood, or by its X-rated cousin.
What IS the big deal??
She wouldn’t do much better here.
If she asks me nicely, I’ll give her my autograph and put her in touch with Laz.
I’ll admit that some of those guys were creepy...particularly the one that walked next to her for 5 minutes. But most of them seemed friendly.
how awful to hear someone say have a nice evening, darling.
will it be worse for her when nobody says anything?
and honestly this is new york city, millions of people racked and stacked on each other, i am surprised half of the comments weren’t people swearing at her for getting in their way or moving too slow, etc.
NYC is a home of Liberalism.
Liberalism, in turn, is the home of The War on Women.
My sister was riding down the highway with her husband and they came up to a semi-truck where the driver had written in the dust on the backside of his semi, “Show me your boobs.” So, she put her sweater on the front of her chest and lifted her elbows up in front of her as if she had huge knockers and as they passed the truck she just looked up at him and smiled. At first, he did not know what she was doing until she pushed her elbows up a little, then he started hooting. Her elbows under her sweater made her look like she was 4 times a DD.
Probably true of Atlanta and other Southern cities also. The liberal scum is spreading out.
Some really desperate guys in NYC to chase after that very plain looking woman.
I was hoping she’d turn and pop that guy in the mouth who was just walking next to her — and the smart ass that wanted to give her his number.
In seriousness, I can understand how it would get old -- and intimidating in the case of the guy following her for five minutes (all the more reason she should have been carrying, although I doubt that's allowed in NYC). But if someone just makes a one-off comment, take it as a complement or ignore it. These professional offended people need to get over themselves.
Excuse me, but when did, “What’s up beautiful?”, “Smile” and “Have a nice evening darling” become “CATCALLS”?!?
The guys following her...YES, they need punches to the face! The ACTUAL “catcalls’ were very few!
I mean, if THESE are catcalls, then according to this soon-to-be-feminazi, any man attempting to start a conversation is some kind of sexual predator.
I mean, believe it or not, one of the first things I ever said to my wife of 27 years was, “You should smile more.” It’s amazing that she didn’t call the cops and report that as sexual assault.
Hell according to most college campuses, today that IS sexual assault! This is just SAD!!
I read a similar article of a woman doing this in another city a few months ago. So, what she did is not something new.
Street Harassment?
How many more must suffer?
What’s Up, Smile, etc., are hardly sexual harassment.
And I’m female. This is not offensive.
Some catcalls are offensive (Sit on My Face and etc.) I don’t defend that stuff at all.
“Over a ten-hour period, she was pelted with dozens of unsolicited comments, including: ‘What’s up beautiful?’, ‘Hey baby’, ‘Smile’ and ‘Have a nice evening darling’.”
Oh, the HORROR.
Give her a few years and take that same walk and she will wistfully remember when she could turn heads
There was a similar situation when Connie Chung did the national news. A young female complained and they showed her video. She confronted the people who ‘looked at her butt’. Oh, the horror!
Personally, I think that except for the obvious harassment by a few, this young woman should feel complimented, not offended.
Many moons ago, many, my wife was walking down a street in Houston pushing a stroller with our 6 month old baby in it and carrying our 2 year old in her arms. Guys honked and whistled. She wasn’t offended. Given the circumstances, she just thought the guys who did it were crazy.
