Israel needs to end its dependence on American aid and weaponry. We are no longer a reliable ally and the whole world knows it. Obama or any likely rat successor may not overtly act against Israel but if they ever see an opportunity to really harm Israel by witholding weapons or money you bet they will do it.
Perhaps you’re right. Israel does need to end dependence on America, however I think soon it will swing back in their favor. Change is on the wind, everyone can feel it.
However, I think if Israel gave citizenship to any civilians of western countries say......if said citizen served in the IDF for X amount of time. That Israel would gain a whole lot of reliable, dependable American citizens. I would seriously consider it, if I wasn’t so out of shape.
