He reported it, then continued to push the story as "fake but accurate" after it was discovered to be fake.
But neither Rather nor CBS manufactured the document.
So, again, do you know of ANY published source that says otherwise?
CBS also ignored expert doubts about the authenticity of the document, as well as put the creator Bill Burkett in touch with the Kerry campaign to coordinate with their "Fortunate Son" hit piece on Bush.
CBS was not a passive bystander here.
