USA Today Washington Bureau Chief Susan Page said that the Obama administration has been “more dangerous to the press” than “any administration in American history” on Monday.
“This administration has been more restrictive and more challenging to the press, more dangerous to the press, really, than any administration in American history,” Page said. “In terms of legal investigations…and I think access to the White House has just gotten worse and worse.”
Page said the Obama administration’s bullying and intimidation of journalists has severe implications for the future of political journalism in the United States.

Heck, he has been doing this stuff since his Chicago days. That’s how he became a senator.
If a Republican gets elected to the presidency they will see the error of their past and try to make up for it with more “vigor” then u can imagine!
The kind of “vigor “ that good ‘ol Dan Rather had!!....
Well Susan Page, you’re kinda late.
As I see it, the MSM has willingly done more damage to our country than any terrorist ever has. So much so, that I have serious doubts that the damage can ever be repaired.
With the Democrats and Obama in power, they have certainly done their best to bring our country to it’s knees, but the Democrats couldn’t have accomplished the wreckage they have without the willing participants of the MSM.
“We have a role in our democracy and we can’t do it if the president and his administration don’t recognize it,” Page said.
The very function of the free press was laid at the feet of their triumphant master in 2008. The role of the free press was changed by its keepers from reporting and criticizing to promoting, protecting, and supporting the President and the Democrat party. None of this was taken from the press. They didn't sell their collective soul to the Democrats, they gave it away.
Page need not worry that this is the "new floor", because as soon as a Republican gets in office the press will immediately change its behavior and screech that its precious freedoms and roles were taken away by...yep, by the Republicans. We no longer have a free press in this country, we have entrenched ideological partisans who simply change their story now and then to suit the moment.
