How Many Elections Will Democrats Steal Next Week?
Power Line ^ | 10/27/14 | Steven Hayward

How extensive is voter-fraud, especially among non-citizens? Just bring up the question, or suggest we need to have voter-ID at the polls like every other advanced democracy, and the answer will be instantly supplied: You’re a racist. But as Dan McLaughlin points out over at The Federalist, Democrats seem to win a suspiciously high number of close elections, well beyond what a random statistical trial would suggest.

There’s a bombshell academic study out on this issue right now that the media is mostly ignoring (the only exception being the Washington Post’s very fine wonky MonkeyCage blog), in part because it appears in an obscure academic journal, Electoral Studies, that is behind an expensive subscription paywall, and in part because any reporter who does a story about it will be called a racist. Since I’m an academic these days, I’ve got access to the article, “Do Non-Citizens Vote in U.S. Elections?”, by Jesse T. Richman and Gulshan A. Chattha of Old Dominion University and David C. Earnest of George Mason University.

The conclusion of the abstract alone ought to set off alarm bells:

We find that some non-citizens participate in U.S. elections, and that this participation has been large enough to change meaningful election outcomes including Electoral College votes, and Congressional elections. Non-citizen votes likely gave Senate Democrats the pivotal 60th vote needed to overcome filibusters in order to pass health care reform and other Obama administration priorities in the 111th Congress.

Using data from the Cooperate Congressional Election Study, which sampled 32,000 voters in 2008 and over 50,000 voters in 2010, the authors conclude that as many as 14 percent of non-citizens—potentially as high as 2.8 million—are registered to vote. The authors conclude that a mid-point estimate of 1.2 million non-citizens cast votes in 2008:

Some county election officials are not interested in catching illegal voters. In fact, some pretty obviously conspire to get them to the polls in the first place. On the assumption, generally accurate, that they’ll vote for the party that got the official his job.

There isn’t much, BTW, new about this. It’s been a constant in American big city politics forever. Standard practice for the Tammany Hall of Boss Tweed, for example.

I distinctly remember the infamous 2000 election in Florida.

Democrats were absolutely, positively convinced that if the votes were all counted, Gore would win.

I tried pointing out to them that this is not how close elections work. By definition, a truly accurate recount, something that is not really possible for human, BTW, would have a 50% chance of declaring GWB the winner.

Possibly they know something I didn’t.

You should see the number of petition candidates on the ballot in my Congressional district.
This is Rob Andrews old district in Camden County NJ.
There are at least 5 candidates other than the Dem and Republican candidates for Andrews seat and for the full term of the Senate seat now held by Cory Booker.
I have never seen so many, in fact I don't remember seeing any in the 23 years I lived in this district.

How Many Elections Will Democrats Steal Next Week?

All they can.

That is why we each have to make sure that our local elections are beyond the Margin of Fraud.

So if your local candidate is up by 4 points, act like he is behind by 1, because 5 points is the Margin of Fraud, these days.

It is probably 10 points in Colorado.

We have to win these, and then Job One of the new Republican Congress has to be to stamp out voter fraud. This is our last best chance to get a handle on our electoral system. If the Democrats rig this one, there will never again be a fair election in this country.

Great idea.

Let's get a "chilling" result using the Democrats' MO: Send squadrons of sound trucks through Hispanic nabes, offering $10,000 reward for info leading to arrest, conviction, or deportation of aliens voting illegally....and don't forget to add "don't let illegals cancel out your legitimate vote, protect your vote!"

Might have to wear earplugs to deafen the cries of "racism"......and to drown out the Spanglish chatter about lawsuits.

My thought was to stand outside voting places (has to be a designated distance) ......and take photos w/ smartphones of voters entering and leaving. That oughta scare the crap outta 'em.

VOTER ROLLS TEEMING W/ INELIGIBLE OBAM-ENABLED DACA-TYPES---North Carolina election officials just discovered 145 names who are ineligible b/c they are illegal immigrants granted Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals status.....

....the NC State Bd of Elections discovered the illegal voters Tuesday when the DMV ran a search for DACA licenses. The DACA recipients on voting rolls will be sent letters requesting documentation that they are citizens. NC DACA beneficiaries are able to obtain drivers licenses, but are not able to vote.

The Winston-Salem Journal notes that it is likely more ineligible people may still remain on the voting rolls. Nearly 10,000 names on the rolls are tagged by the DMV as "legally present"..... But that doesn’t mean that all 10,000 are ineligible to vote. These were not US citizens when they got a license. They may have been green-card holders, foreign workers or foreign students, for example.

Earlier, election officials did a sample cross-check of 1,600 of the 10,000 “legally present” names against a DHS database and found that 94% were eligible to vote.....that means if the ratio held for the whole 10,000, 600 people would be ineligible...in a state where the Senate election is a dead heat. A DMV spokesman is now cross checking all the names....early voting is set to start Thursday.

=====================================

More Jaw-Dropping 'Progressive' Voter Fraud Everywhere You Look...

<><><> SPREAD THE WORD---Dummycrats will be transporting vans full of so-called "voters"---Ebola patients, illegals, minorities, felons, etc. The Dummies pre-register names---then van riders vote the names----on lists provided by Dummies.

<><> <>Repub poll watchers should (1) count the people entering the polling place, and, (2) make sure that number matches the number of ballots given out.

<><><> James O'Keefe videoed progessives casually advising urging people to commit felonies compounded by forgeries...urging that discarded absentees ballots be filled out.

<><> Rush says Blacks will show up and raise hell over not being registered knowing all they have to do is slow down the line until polls close.

Repubs need to be ready--- any person making a stink should be removed from the voting line and asked to sit in a reserved space....to get their grievances resolved, later....much, much later.

The annual Freeper mass whining about voter fraud.

Either do something about it or just shut up about the whole thing, because flooding this place for 10 days with posts wont accomplish a thing.

We’ve come so far down this path, the dems are essentially conducting fraud operations in the open. Even the “media” have started reporting about non-citizens voting, and the darkside, which facilitates this crap, no longer denies it. Now their attitude says, “try and catch us.”

As many as they can get away with.

You are right, and I am sure it will be more than a few. Possibly enough to keep the Senate in rat hands.

Once the machines are sufficiently rigged, the Rats will accept voter ID. Or not.

Always enjoy reading your comments. Your proposal I am sure is partly tongue in cheek, but illustrates an important point about the reality of the state of our country. As time goes on, for this country to have a chance to survive, there will be times to use scorched earth approach against the left as their obsession with power to the detriment of individual freedom and tradition needs to be stopped.

Unfortunately, as your comment really points out - racism and the charges of racism have trumped the rule of law. As a result, civil discourse on electoral integrity is very difficult if almost impossible to have.

I’ll need to think a little more on a scorched earth approach for voting. Having worked as an election judge in inner city precincts, there are some things that we can do and should demand of those supposedly representing us.

The issue should always be framed as - ensuring the integrity of the electoral process is a fundamental government responsibility. This includes ensuring citizens who decide to vote are not impeded in exercising that right; those not entitled to vote do not vote else are prosecuted for illegal voting. After all, an illegal vote deprives others of their freedom. Repeat ad nauseam and constantly accuse the other side of not being interested in protecting the right to vote; keep repeating that we are working to ensure the right to vote.

There are multiple ways help push the issue further to ensure the chance of survival of our country. One is for conservatives to study their state’s election law, join their local party for the sole purpose of working inside the polls on election day. The party should give training sessions to all its poll workers on the law, how to report and get help on election day should there be a (potential) violation. After the election, the party workers should meet and discuss their experiences with other party poll workers. Experience will be useful in the next election.

Conservatives should also advocate for electoral reform - that between elections, all voting records, motor voter registrations, etc are analyzed for potential fraud at the local and state level. Safeguards be implemented to prevent removal of legitimate voters from the voting rolls. Link death certificates issued to voting record management. Maybe landlords should be required to report to the voting office within 30 days when a tenant moves out - or be subject to fine. (libs love regulation - they’ll like this one! And will work great in college towns too! ) Fraudulent voting be adjudicated and punished. Advocate that organized voter fraud be severely punished, (include conspiracy to commit voter fraud, mail and wire fraud etc) with stiff prison sentences. And instead of driving trucks through neighborhoods like DEMs, have a whistleblower provision with awards up to $10,000 for the reporting of voter fraud, and $100,000 for reporting organized voter fraud.

Yes you are right my suggestion, born of frustration, was tongue-in-cheek and mostly intended, as you understood, to express the one-sided nature of voter fraud enforcement.

I concur with every one of your suggestions and there is a certain corner of my soul that really likes infiltrating Democrat poll watchers to expose them. I am coming, however, to the belief that our primary problem in exposing and prosecuting voter fraud lies with the unwillingness of the Republican establishment to do anything about it. If one is in a forgiving mood, one can suppose that the establishment is simply terrified of being called racist, if one is in a less forgiving mood, one can suppose that it is simply more of the same from the elites in the Republican Party who have made compromises, overtly and covertly, with the enemy.

[When politics is your religion, you do what you have to do to win.]

Unfortunately, many Christians have forgotten the government is on Christ’s shoulders and have opted to believe ‘religion and politics don’t mix.’

This fascinating Sid Roth episode has a dire warning for the 2016 elections at its conclusion.

Democrats, being Leftists in the mold of Social Democrats and Bolsheviks and the like, have no attachment to elections and would dispense with them if they could. So long as they have to put up with elections they will manipulate them using every method that might nudge a count in their direction. For Democrats everyone else is Evil so whatever means are effective to bring Democrats to power are used. They will not cavil before murder and wholesale killing if they reach a point when they deem that to be effective for bringing them to power and keeping them in power. If the background check law passes in Washington State that moment will be closer.

You seem to think that Republicans are somehow a separate entity. They are not. The Republican Party is a subsidiary of its parent corporation, the Democrat Party. That is the result of a lengthy friendly takeover process that started with the Rockefeller “wing” of the Republican Party 60 years ago.

Illegals are allowed to vote in school board elections in Chicago if they have children in the school system or if they say they do and those questions are on the same ballots that everyone else uses in the general election so they just mark every office as the Democrat operatives instruct them to do. In Chicago the wetbacks vote just like citizens in all elections and in great numbers. They decide the vote in many not otherwise close elections in Chicago.
