Not immediately. However I’m sure there are many loyalists ready to go into action if called upon by the government. A modern American SS/gestapo/secret police/whatever you want to call it. A scenario like this would certainly take a few long strides in that direction. But they would still have to pry them from our cold dead fingers. Then bury their buddies.
