If you vote for a liberal, or encourage others to vote for a liberal, you ARE a liberal.

That depends on what letter comes after the liberal's name.

E.g., if you can convince a liberal to vote for Nalph Raider instead of the D, that's not as good as getting the person to vote for the conservative candidate, but, in the end, the effect is the same — namely, to improve the conservative's chance of winning.
