Bad idea, but muslims are genetically stupid people and incapable of linear thought. They may have looted and deported the Jews but the Jews were the only productive segment of their hellish countries. So they got their booty but they banished the source. Israel took them in and they made the desert bloom and the desolate places were rebuilt.
