Absurd and, yes like my daughter's absurd Obamacare. She and her hubby looked over the gov site. Well, for two, they could pay $750/mo with $8000 - $10,000 deduction! They chose to not buy and take the fine. She said in so many words that why pay nearly $10,000 a year for nothing?

Wrong. They get to pay $10k per year for the chance to pay $10k per year before the insurance company will pay anything.

In other words they need a serious medical incident to rack up $20,000 in medical expenses prior to their insurance actually giving them a benefit.
