I have a more like centimeter deep non-healing lesion (long term). Going to try the Curad product since nothing else has worked, even though “colloidal” preparations I used in the past had no effect. Neither did professional consultation including local dermatologists, a university medical center interdisciplinary committee, a plastic surgeon (who wanted to remove a lot more) and others.
There are also bandages infused with honey made by bees which get the nectar from the same trees tea tree oil is made from. IIRC, Jim had some trouble getting some wounds to heal, and these were used. He may have more info.
It has been 6 years, so hopefully you are all healed. I have been studying and living therapeutic nutrition and healing for around 50 years. Currently 81 and healthy. Sunken Civ sent me this link after I commented at a Covid-19 post. You don’t say so, but I suppose you are also referring to a spider bite, probably Recluse, but perhaps Black Widow. At any rate, without more information, here is a recipe I can suggest as it is safe and easy to find ingredients. You can make more or less depending on how much you think you would need to apply poultices for 2 weeks or so, changing bandage or wrappings 2 or 3 times a day.
1/4 cup of honey or aloe vera or some of both.
2 to 4 grams Vitamin C tablet crushed or C powder
1000 to 1200 IU of Vitamin E
1 tablespoon of crushed fresh garlic
Optional additions: A little Tea Tree oil, or colloidal silver
The C and E are critical as they are both needed to form healing tissue. You can also take some internally. The other ingredients have healing properties and some are also anti-bacterial. Once the basic healing has occurred on a lesion, you can continue to make a Vitamin E and C salve to rub on the healing area. I wish you luck, and if you would like to discuss healing further, feel free to private message me.
