#5 – Eddie Kendricks: “Keep on Truckin’”

Eddie had left the Temptations to go solo, and this was his first hit. I was surprised it wasn’t a hit in Seattle, but that city was more C&W than R&B. What surprised me even more was that his next single, “Boogie Down”, which did only moderately well on the national charts, was a huge hit in Seattle. This is the long version.
