This is an interesting cultural initative and cliche riddled thinking will not find an understanding of the need for permanent body decoration. Conservatives really need to understand the psychological dynamic of defiance, lol! C’mon, it’s a republican’s bread and butter. We need to take that archetype back from the left-anarchists.
Warriors from all points of the compass use body art as a statement of courage. Tattoos are painful for starters and their implementation requires a tolerance of pain, job one of any fox hole soldier. There are lots of 50’s retro renegade demographics that vote Republican and uphold conservative values. Sure they invoke an “other side of the tracks” image, but the urge to live a free life is not patented by members of the Daughters of the American Revolution, they are a bit more universal than that and sit nicely within the manifold beauties of American trailer trash culture. You conservative standard bearers had better come to grips with trailer trash culture. Yah, it may be soaked in booze, meth and the Holy Grail of dope, but its members will be on the front lines and at the barricades of liberty. Don’t ever forget that. Lady Liberty is tolerant of social aberration and the many geniuses that it gestates. Freedom is tolerant, tyranny is intollerant, period.
Kind of BS what you wrote, but I get some it and agree.
No problems with “some tats” but the over the top, I have to cover my whole body/neck tats junk is for untrustworthy losers.
i believe in freedom of association. i believe employers are free to hire who they want. i don’t believe he has a right to work anywhere he wants because employers are free to not hire him.
Spare me the Millennialist mumbo-jumbo. If you look like a freak, expect to be treated like a freak. Vote however you want. Look however you want. And be man enough to accept the consequences.
