Remember, odds are that she wouldn’t have gotten Ebola if there had been a travel ban from hot zones.

It is her choice to meet with him. She could have graciously refused, which is what a conservative would have done.

I'd have said, "I'm not interested, its his damned fault that I got this in the first place. Tell him to go fock himself." Of course, then I'd get an IRS audit, but after getting Ebola I would probably swear off my shut up pills for life.

How bad must the polling be for Barack to cancel his golf round today?

I’m surprised the folks in the apartment with Duncan didn’t get Ebola .... then again, 21 days has passed, but not 42.

Words fail me.

Nina, use your head. You’re just going to be used like a tool for political purposes and thrown away like a used rag.

Don’t worry, they’ll hold his tee time until after the 15 minute photo op.

“Hey look America, I cured Ebola in a federal gub’mint hospital!”

A jaw-dropping report released by the World Health Organization on October 14, 2014 reveals that 1 in 20 Ebola infections has an incubation period longer than the 21 days which has been repeatedly claimed by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control.

I believe that the same report also said that even after 42 days, some 2% don't show symptoms, and that something like 13% never show an elevated temperature. That is what we know NOW.

The simple fact is that there were more cases in this outbreak as of September 1 than there had been in all previous outbreaks COMBINED since 1976, and it is far beyond that now - so we simply don't know much about Ebola (and, of course, it keeps mutating, so we can never truly wrap our arms around this). That all being said, it remains a disease that is extraordinarily lethal and, when lethal, it is extraordinarily horrible. As such, why do we take it so lightly? Ordinary people who know this don't - but our government and the big-medicine docs on TV do, for whatever reason or reasons. They are definitely NOT serving the public well in any way.

She should have politely declined.

I’ve been praying for her, but now this.

Obama got 73% of the Asian American vote in 2012

That's one I just don't understand. Why are hardworking, successful people like Asians (on balance) voting for Democrats? It boggles the mind.

I saw her being interviewed from the hospital bed last week, dressed in pajamas, face wet with tears of panic. I thought that was wildly inappropriate, an invasion of privacy and bringing unnecessary stress to the patient. All for what?

Then, her supervising physician gave an interview, talking more about the moment Nina found out she was infected. Why breech such a confidence? Being a Doctor doesn’t bring enough attention? If I was part of her family I would be livid. Nina Pham’s family is the one who should be picketing the hospital out on the sidewalk and yelling about broken confidences, not the myopic Liberian Moochers known as the Thomas Duncan Family.

Yeah, makes you wonder. Does anyone even entertain a single, fleeting thought that there might no be any real ebola in the usa?
Just asking.
