He pretty much punished any Conservatives daring to ‘hold his feet to the fire’.
That tactic is now a moot point. They will not allow themselves to be held to account by Conservatives.

They will if we go down to the Capitol and confront them. We drove Al Gore out of Cheney's house, we can push Boehner and O'Connell to do the right thing.
