...In response to the recent coverage of what has come to be commonly called the “Palin Brawl,” that occurred last month in Alaska, former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin’s daughter, Bristol, has taken to her blog to set the record straight.
....[Bristol said] "Violence against women is never okay… Even if that violence occurs against conservative women. Imagine for a second the outrage that would happen if Chelsea Clinton had gotten pushed by some guy. Had she tried to defend herself, the liberal media would’ve held her up as some feminist hero.
But it wasn’t Chelsea.
It wasn’t Hillary.
It wasn’t someone they liked or someone they agreed with.
It was a conservative.
And once again, the hypocrisy of the media is laid bare.”

That's quite a brush you're painting the Palins with. You'll find it less likely to obscure the facts if you find a thinner one.
As we have seen in the past, the press doesn't need any actual ammo, as they'll just make it up if they so desire. Personally I think all the Palins are doing a heck of a job living rent-free in the liberal mind.
