I think he’s just trying to stay alive. Irrational people with stirred up hatred can kill you in a heartbeat especially if it will make thm “famous” in this day and age.

He is staying out of sight and laying low. With all the threats and pervasive lynch mob mentality it is imperative he continue to so do.
