I think you both miss my point. You are placing your trust in a system that clearly has no integrity. Fight you say! I submit I am far more ready for the fight than either of you and that it is long passed overdue.

It’s not only true, this was pretty much the intent (denied, of course) of the legislation in the first place. The then-minority GOP warned that this was going to happen when the legislation was voted on, but of course we were told that this was just fear-mongering and that vote fraud doesn’t exist.

Funny how the people claiming vote fraud doesn’t exist are the ones who benefit from in the the “rare” cases where it happens...

No early voting, no absentee ballots, period. If you can’t show up to vote on election day, too bad. You don’t get to vote. Military overseas is the one exception...

Everyone? No, IMHO, only those with eyes.

When your OWN party sits on their thumbs, regardless of the evidence presented (let alone the wall of the Judiciary if/when they DO try...not in recent memory), it gets ya bit jaded on ‘the process’ working.

Where was the State in the lull? Where was the Party in trying to correct the voting rolls (HELL, my idea is a purge every 10 years...talk about ‘tough’ to implement /s)?? Media, if they speak up about the rolls, should be slapped hard with a wad of rolled up news stories like this and told to STFU.

Or are employed by the US Taxpayer somewhere in the Government. Plenty of time on their hands, we pay them to lie, cheat and steal.

Once again the real ROOT problem we have is the same. Two cultures can not occupy the same space. Our values are not their values. Our principles are not theirs. Integrity, liberty, etc. all these words have either had their meanings changed or become punch lines. We know no culture is stable with their values hence we reject them. They know as long as they can parasitically thrive on our complacency they can exist and prosper. We ENABLE their duplicity by pretending to believe in the charade to preserve a modicum of stability. They hold us hostage by threatening chaos. Time to break the cycle.

Voter fraud should be punished by execution. Seriously. It can undermine the whole of a system where people are represented by their votes.
People who commit voter fraud are deliberately attempting to destroy the whole system.

Next stop; civil war.

It's very likely the only thing that'll stop this train wreck and allow US to salvage something from our tattered republic.

The FR voter suppression crew needs a time out.

People who complain about the republicans not doing anything about voter fraud are fools. Voting laws are still about 90% under the jurisdiction of the individual states.

In Michigan we elected SOS Ruth Johnson and AG Bill Schuette who both take election fraud very seriously and work together to strengthen our election laws. When the feds refused to help Johnson purge dead and illegal voters from the voter rolls, she found other means and purged some 11,000 ineligible people from the voter rolls. We also have new laws in place that require strict election night oversight and auditing of traditionally problem precincts. There have also been dozens of convictions on charges related to vote fraud over the past 4 years.

There will always be election fraud but if the people of the individual states elect the right people it will be minimized.

“Finally, it’s possible that all-mail voting will throw off the pollsters, but there isn’t any evidence it will. Oregon has had all-mail voting since 2000, and Josh Katz of The New York Times has found it had the seventh-lowest error rate in Senate polling out of the 36 states he studied. Washington switched to all-mail voting for the 2012 election, and the polling average in the 2012 Senate race was off by 0.5 percentage points.

Pollsters haven’t had problems with vote-by-mail states.”

I voted against it the first time and for it the second time because I am convinced the war on drugs is nothing but a police state scam and much worse than the druggies as much as I dislike them.

I vote 99 percent republican but mainly to try to keep the socialist democrats out, wished I could vote for the constitution party.

That’s a little true strict. I agree about no “early voting”, but some people might be legitimately absentee and should still be allowed to vote.

Amen   +1

.. with a second exception for nursing home residents, et al for whom the trip to the polls would be medically detrimental.
