“I have been wondering (and wife MD) if there is a neurological component to the ebola virus.”
I recently learned that a human with rabies has a neurological change, and will have a fear of water (which dilutes the rabies if they try to drink it). Trying to dring because they are so thirsty, but hands start shaking and can’t get the glass to their mouth. Spooky!
Perhaps there is some sort of “restlessness” that comes with Ebola (well - at least before your insides turn to jello) that is part of it trying to spread and survive?
Hey! I was in the ‘burgh today. North Side, right near the Garden Theater. Talk about class!
What is an Uber cab?
“No honey! Please don’t take me bowling! I didn’t say I am a bowler! I said I have Ebola!”
You would think that hipster would chose a bowling alley as the last place to hang out. What next? Scrapbooking groups at Michael’s?
In my previous town, the only place we could hear a band play music (this was in the ‘80’s) was at the bowling alley on Friday and Saturday nights.
My neighborhood Halloween party is this Saturday. It is held by a doctor and the neighborhood is stacked with medical personnel. I bet there is going to be a lot of dark humor that night.
Sorry but they do have that liberal hipster look going for them.
Yes they do have that look....
Still stunning that medical people, who are familiar with disease etc...are making such terrible decisions.
I would think there would be protocols for medical people returning from treating Ebola patients??? Going Bowling, and all this guy did isn't self quarantine or even close. We need to check, which I've tried to find, what are the CDC protocols for those returning who have treated Ebola patients..are there any???????
Start spreadin’ the plague,
I’m fev’rish today,
I want to see a doctor soon,
New York, New York...
Maybe his vision is already starting to go: “First do no Harm...” looked like “First go to Harlem...”
Upon returning to the United States, each MSF staff member goes through a thorough debriefing process, during which they are informed of our guidelines....
The guidelines include the following instructions:
1. Check temperature two times per day
2. Finish regular course of malaria prophylaxis (malaria symptoms can mimic Ebola symptoms)
3. Be aware of relevant symptoms, such as fever
4. Stay within four hours of a hospital with isolation facilities
5. Immediately contact the MSF-USA office if any relevant symptoms develop
>> I said earlier, he is an idiot, or he did it on purpose.
Apparently, he didn’t give a damn.
you can do it taking only two lines depending on where you start obviously and where you actually finish, it’s not the whole system. but, when our waitress asked about how bad it was, i told her to buy a bike and not take the bus to work anymore. philly suburbs.
Maybe if he wasn’t feeling so sluggish, they would have gone roller skating.
but it does go from north to south thru the entire city of manhattan
Same thing can be said about the POTUS and democrat party.
So, let me see-The doctor took a plane from Liberia back to the US (went through airport), and has been asymptomatic (no fever, exc..) for X number of days-Until today, he suddenly develops a fever after being out in public, exposing God-Only-Knows how many to this horrible disease-But ...........it's perfectly fine to allow 150 people a day in from disease ravaged nations. (Never mind that Britain and other countries have travel bans. And countries that successfully contained Ebola have travel bans and strict border control.)
What could possibly go wrong?
Ha. Shirley you jest. They don't even have enough sense to lock the doors at the White Hut.
