Blow by blow, Ferguson cop's FULL version of why he shot Michael Brown...
The London Daily Mail ^ | October 22, 2014 | Kieran Corcoran

Posted on 10/22/2014 12:16:40 AM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

* Fuller version of Wilson's account of killing emerged today.

* Wilson said Brown, 18, hit him in the face before grabbing his drawn pistol.

* Allegedly twisted it towards Wilson's hip in desperate struggle.

* Wilson said he managed to fire the gun, and hit Brown's hand.

* Said after that Brown fled, turned, and charged at him again.

* At this point, Wilson said, he fired several more shots, killing Brown.

* Lawyers for Brown's family angrily denied the claims.

* Wilson's version contradicts other accounts of the August 9 killing.

A Missouri police officer's full account of why he shot dead unarmed teen Michael Brown has been revealed for the first time - and he describes a frantic struggle inside his police car during which Brown grabbed the officer's gun, twisted it around and pointed it at him.

Darren Wilson’s testimony, as leaked to the St Louis Post-Dispatch, fills in holes in the chronology of the shooting in Ferguson, Missouri, on 9 August left by an earlier excerpt of his testimony leaked at the weekend – and is sure to further stoke the controversy surrounding the shooting.

The police officer’s dramatic account of events depicts a life-or-death struggle inside his police car with the 'incredibly strong' teen – after Brown allegedly punched him in the face and reached for his gun.

And, significantly, Wilson claims he shot Brown dead as the teen charged at him on the street – after the alleged attacker apparently retreated for a period when he was shot in the hand by Brown during the struggle in the car....

Well, one thing for sure.... it’s going to take some testicles for any whites to show up to the polls in Ferguson.

Is anyone in Ferguson really ready for the truth?

An important issue of justice is the charge and the parties involved.

This is a case between the State and the Officer.

The State has the authority to take life. The officer should only be charged if he misused his authority or took a life without lawful authority from the State.

Michael Brown isn’t the issue. Too many people will confuse the person Michael Brown as being the one involved in the trial or in the hearing. He isn’t. He’s dead and no longer the focal point.

Nah, they just sit on you and crush you to death now a days. Then they feign ignorance of the premeditated murder they committed on you.

Lawyers for Brown's family angrily denied the cop's version of the story....

His sainted mother is prepared to testify under oath that she NEVER EVER saw a hint of aggression in the gentle 6'3" teen.....except once.....when he hit a high note in the church choir.

And besides if the cop's account is true....how are they all gonna get rich quick....by soaking taxpayers for millions in reparations?

They might try. I wonder if they will choose to stay out of the white neighborhoods?

I heard they are hauling in some used FEMA trailers from Katrina that they could not sell as FREE loot and burn offerings.

That should keep the animals sedated for a few hours.

The Wilson family attorney, the bum who was the Martin family attorney, was on BOR monday night. To paraphrase: they need indict cop because then he would get his day in court so all the facts will come out. IOW, we want to get him in a court so we can brow beat a jury into finding him guilty and if not the mere fact he is indicted will lead to a huge civil suit and we will all get rich. I was yelling at the TV that the only reason to go to court is if the grand jury finds there is reasonable cause to charge the cop, not for him to in essence prove his innocense.

An localized internet blackout (IMO) could only be accomplished if the .gov is working in conjunction with local ISPs. For "last mile" providers like Comcast and AT&T...this COULD be relatively easy as you don't need "boots on the ground" from the providers to turn off service connections. A more detailed discussion of this quickly becomes "local" in the sense that retail customers of ISPs in that area are probably set up using various configurations of very small aperture terminals (VSATs) may also use satellite links to transport traffic to middle mile facilities or directly to the national backbone networks.

How they would go about blocking satellite access...is beyond my scope of knowledge. But my point is, a localized disruption is NOT entirely impossible.

It’s more than mere evidence. There has to be a systematic totaling of everything that was collected. Witness statements aid towards one version or the other, but cannot be conclusive. One also has to expand outward in time where the “before” is just as important as the “during” in this particular case. Remember, the officer was not responding to the theft at the convenient store, he was commanding a person waling in the middle of the street to move to the sidewalk. The officer, from what I read so far, did not know that this particular person just got done physically battering a store clerk for “smokes & candy” and was already in a state of “fight”.

These incidents are way intelligence - hard working - people don’t go into law enforcement. There’s no money in it and the reward is nonexistent. For those that do - some leave - or the others that stay do as little as possible for fear of incidents like this or law suits from people who don’t even deserve to be in this nation.

An addendum to my post above...as I thought of it...ISPs (under coercion from .gov) could also blacklist a certain number of sites (Twitter/Facebook/Livestream/GMail/etc.) locally pretty easily, without totally blacking out the entire connection to the web. Turning OFF upload bandwidth locally (i.e. making the ISPs internet connections read only or download only) is also possible.

While all that is possible it is also trivial to work around. No download can take place without an outgoing TCP connection and "upload" of a request. Therefore all desired uploads can simply be inserted or steg'd into requests depending on the efficiency tradeoff. As for blocking sites, talk to the Chinese, then talk to the people who work around the crap that the Chinese do. It is a fair amount of work and an arms race, but the information access side always wins unless the internet is completely turned off.

sounds legit and justifiable IMO, if true

"If true" is the operative term. Right now I don't see why Wilson's account should be taken any more seriously than the contradictory accounts. After all he has the most to lose in all this. I think that the forensic evidence is key, especially the autopsy, and most of that hasn't been released yet.

Understood on all that...I was just pointing out the possibilities. The Chinese face this everyday and have had time to form contingencies...the average citizen in the Ferguson area probably just says "Oh $hit, the internet is down", and goes about their day dodging the zombies.

But after hearing him, would any of us have reacted any differently under a similar set of circumstances?

Assuming that Wilson's account is what really happened then most people would have reacted the same way. But what if it isn't? The evidence will show it one way or the other.

True for a day or two. After that someone somewhere in the world writes an app to get around the blocking and then everyone downloads it. The trick is finding out about the app. Normal ways of geting it (links from facebook) might be blocked.
