I do feel a little sorry forMonica. Her life had been ruined while Bill and Hill go along their merry way. She was star struck and he took advantage of that as her boss and as the president.

Lots of girls have had this happen to them but thankfully no one knows about it and they can redeem themselves. Monica will pay forever.

This old grannie doesn’t feel sorry for her one little bit.

She was old enough to know that it wasn’t “right, prudent, morally correct, or conducive to her future success in life” to engage with a married man in any form of sexual dalliance, no matter how “charming” (ugh) or powerful he might have been.

I take pity on her for one reason only.

She seems to be dumb enough, or so poorly parented, to be unaware of consequences. Until someone smacks her upside the head, and tells her to shut her pie-hole, get on with a productive life (go and sin no more), she is lost, blaming others for her willful adolescent notions that she can get away with anything because she “felt like it at the time”, and wants to blame those who “outed her” silly promiscuous fantasies of grandiose conquests.

That said, we were all young idiots once, and did very dumb things, destructive to ourselves, and others. But, if we wanted to get on with our lives, and do better, we owned up to our mistakes, and didn’t blame others for our failures and lapses.

As long as she blames others for her irresponsible behavior, she has failed to mature, and learn from her self-centered adolescent mistakes.

If her parents can’t get through to her at this point in her life, maybe the mass media can smack her upside the head? (I know, I am dreaming of a long time ago, and far away, when we once had morals and values, and the culture around us supported these.)

It is very hard for good parents to pass along wisdom to their children, for modern media, echoing mass cultural degradation, makes us out to be antiquated fools, no longer relevant in today’s version of sodom and gomorrah.

Those who hold to basic principles of civilized behavior are ridiculed and ostracized, and have been cut off at the knees, marginalized by modern media’s deafening erosion of societal norms .

Ms. Lewinsky obviously believes that she is without blame, so we should pray for her corrupted soul, and for her parents, who (I hope, for her sake) must be so embarrassed, humiliated, and worried about her.
