Nevertheless, let me point out that any government wanting to do as you suggest should be opposed with all out combat. That would be terribly despotic. So, in many ways you are on to something.

Why would they physically force that on anyone? They know that you wouldn't be able to drive, work, buy anything or do much of anything in public. Cash will not be allowed as is happening in some places already. Toll roads would check drivers. They won't need to physically force anyone.

I don't think the question is if they CAN force it on you. The fact is, they won't. God won't allow it. But expect some type of physical, actual "mark". IMHO, of course.
