“That’s what all the hub bub is about? Man sized target at 100 meters? I’ll put 28 rounds rapid fire into that all day long.”

Don’t know about the rapid fire part. But, do agree that a 100 yd shot is not a challenging shot for any experienced hunter, especially if equipped with a good quality rifle and scope setup.

Simo Häyhä, a Finnish sniper during the 1939 Winter War against Stalinist Russia, is credited with more than 600 kills using only iron sights on a Mosin–Nagant. No scope. Häyhä refused to use a scope for fear that a wayward sunlight glint off the glass might give his position away.
