That is neat. Did Levin write “Men in Black”? That is a great book. He was very nice to some callers. But he ripped into a couple of people who called because they thought he was awesome and just wanted to talk about something or other.. I doubt they still think he is awesome.

I actually called to contradict him. He said that there wasn't much anyone can do because Bush picked his nominee. I called to say that there was still something that could be done; we could mount a pressure campaign to convince Miers to withdraw herself from consideration.

That's what eventually happened.
