A husband held in Texas by immigration officials for nine months with a dozen men packed in a cell only slightly larger than a minivan was reunited with his wife and daughter Friday in the driveway of a Greyhound bus station in San Francisco.
There were tears and hugs and endless smiles, heavenward glances and many kisses.
The story of Ricardo Martinez, 31, Ameli Ramirez, 30, and their daughter, Milly Nicole, 8, is as triumphant as it is tragic. And it’s an increasingly American story.

They are criminals as soon as they cross the border. That’s why they are called “illegal” aliens. So, they don’t have to wait to become criminals, they already are.
I hope they do one with a reunion for the MS13 gang-members welcoming their buds from the homeland. That would be touching.

I agree, but once the criminal trespassers get here, they need to commit numerous crimes just to stay here. Identity theft for starters.
