Yes. The situation is tragic. But it is also quite simple. Barack Obama is incapable of performing the functions of the office to which he was somehow twice elected. At this juncture, it doesn't matter why, and we have already amused ourselves quite enough in our exchanges of titillating obamagossip.

That the man in the WH is incapable was obvious enough in Term I, but has becoming overwhelming evident in term II . Perhaps a majority of the voting public doesn't realize it yet, but certainly our elected representatives in both parties do, and so do the leaders of foreign countries inimical to our national interest.

One cannot blame the Democrats. They are true to their loonie Left ideology. The real question is, " Can the GOP decide its constitutional duty is more important than Boehner/McConnell business-as-usual? " The GOPe is just as aware as we are that the party might very well be in its death-throes. Will it decide that preserving its share of the swag is worth taking the Republic down with it?
