Dracula Untold Official Trailer #1 (Hero of Europe, muslim killer)
crew ^ | Summer 2014 | Crew

Posted on 10/17/2014 10:34:02 PM PDT by Eurotwit

First movie that focusses on the real Vlad Dracula.

Fought for his country against the muslim beheaders.

Then he impaled them all.

I think the "thing" in this movie is that he gets so desperate in his fight against the muslims, that he becomes a vampire.

“Fought for his country against the muslim beheaders. Then he impaled them all.”

Best Bio ever, hands down.

Yah...that's not the real one. The real one used non-super human strength, just the normal dude strength of his army to impale a few thousand for the world's first meat forest.

The supernatural bat guano kinda takes away from the actual achievement .

More reality based than Bram Stoker

A few thousand? Wasn’t it twenty thousand for his forest of the impaled? It made the Muzzie sultan puke and think twice.

Is that really what this film portrays? That seems hard to believe. Hollyweird took Muslims out of Clancy's 'Sum of All Fears" and the Chinese invaders out of "Red Dawn" out of fear for foreign sales.

I don’t know who financed tho movie, but even in Hollywood if you’re self-financed, you can do what you want.

Better quality:

Not for the glorification of paganism, but looks like an entertaining movie, and Luke Evans is an engaging actor for this genre.

I saw this movie last weekend.

I loved it.
It portrays good and evil. Christian vs. Muslim scum.
It of course takes a vampire bent, but used it to show right and wrong.

My opinion is the Christian aspect of it and the portraying of good and evil is the reason the critics are rating this movie low.

It is a beautiful movie. Good script, great costumes, good acting......worth seeing.

btw Tolkien was “inspired” by the muslim attacks on Europe when he depicted Mordor, Sauron and the orcs.

"Hollyweird took Muslims out of Clancy's 'Sum of All Fears"

Didn't they rename the movie and relocate it?

I believe they turned it into a documentary about life in San Francisco and called it "Sum of all Queers".

Yes he was. But he was one blood thirsty guy. Some delegates from the Dodge of Venice showed up in his court as emissaries. They didn’t remove their hats saying it wasn’t t g e custom in Venice. So Dracula had their hats nailed on and sent them back to Venice. In a town near the castle there was a well with a solid gold cup to use. No one not even a traveler stole it. Another case he had a bunch of people impaled in different ways. Then had his lunch set up in the middle of t h employment. One of his ministers complained about the smellso he had him impaled on a much taller stake to put the guy above the smell. In a valley on the route the Muslim Army had to travel through he took all the Muslim captives and had them impaled all along the route. So m e put the number as high as 20,000 but my guess is it was only a couple thousand.

His fight really saved most of Europe by delaying the Muslims and making the practice to high. In the end he was betrayed by his brother Radu, the handsome, and the Holy Roman Emperor

I took a look at the movie trailer, and it looks pretty good, much as you describe it. But Rotten Tomatoes hates it. Looks like they can’t deal with any version of Dracula but the Bram Stoker variety: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/dracula_untold/

Caution. The underlying theme in Dracula is that only through satanic power was the spread of islam into Europe halted.

What, a new vampire pic where the main vampire doesn’t have to worry about being metrosexual enough or teen/20 something angst? I’m in. Plus he doesn’t have to worry about Ebola or Obola.

“I think Vlad was christian...”

So was his father. Dad was awarded with admission into the order of the Dragon for his defense of Christianity from Muslim invaders - a very high honor among European royalty.

Vlad highlighted that honor by calling himself Dracula. Draco is dragon in Latin, and in his language, the ula at the end indicated “son of”

I saw the movie, and liked it. It seemed to me that Christianity was treated favorably. The priest was a righteous character, and the bad guy (the old vampire) was non/anti-christian.

Muslims do get negatively portrayed, and unfairly blamed for imprisoning and torturing Vlad as a boy - which was actually done by family, friends and Christian political rivals. It does highlight the Muslim Turks practice of conscripting Christian boys to be raised as Muslim soldiers (Janissaries).
