Is the “wrecking crew” in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame?

The entire Wrecking Crew was inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame in Nashville in 2007, but not The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. A few of the individual members including drummers Hal Blaine and Earl Palmer were inducted as sidemen in 2000 and Elton John inducted Leon Russell in 2011 but Glen Campbell hasn’t been, even though he’s been eligible since the early 70’s.

Glen Campbell has won 9 Grammy Awards:
1967: Best Male Country Vocal Performance for “Gentle on My Mind”
1967: Best Country & Western Recording for “Gentle on My Mind”
1967: Best Vocal Performance, Male for “By the Time I Get to Phoenix”
1967: Best Contemporary Vocal Performance, Male for “By the Time I Get to Phoenix”
1968: Album of the Year – “By the Time I Get to Phoenix”
2000: Grammy Hall of Fame Award – “Wichita Lineman”
2004: Grammy Hall of Fame Award – “By the Time I Get to Phoenix”
2008: Grammy Hall of Fame Award – “Gentle on My Mind”
2012: Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award[58]
