We even had one case where we called in advance and they still turned it off.

On the other hand some thief called them and persuaded them to change our internet password, issue a new card in a name not ours and send it to Houston where we do not live. We were lucky to catch it before she got the card. Seriously not impressed with their "security."

Something similar happened to me. Someone changed the address on my credit card account, so that I didn’t receive any bills in the mail. There was also a fraudulent charge on my account at that time which I had to get taken care of.

The security systems they have in place, while better than nothing, are far from foolproof.
