LOL! Actually, you might not be far off. In “Hot Zone” one of the things mentioned is how some of the hospitalized patients cannot be restrained and rush to escape from the hospital. In the book, it was indicated that this might be a mental disorder caused by the disease, or just an indication of sanity - seeing all those other patients dissolving or exploding on their cots triggers an urge for self-preservation.
