Pretty much confirmed Nina Pham’s transfer reason.

I Posted on Ebola surveillance thread:

Just heard on Washington DC ABC radio affiliate:

Nina Pham moved to NIH Bethesda, Maryland due to “staffing problems” in Texas.

“Nina Pham moved to NIH Bethesda, Maryland due to “staffing problems” in Texas.”

If true, then a very good idea.

Of course, that doesn’t say much for Dallas Presby, and cannot give much hope to the local community - what if grandma gets pneumonia or grandpa has a heart attack? Taking nearly 1000 beds out of service isn’t going to help anyone very much.

The CDC ought to order the entire hospital surrounded by several layers of plastic, and then bomb it with a bunch of biocidal agents, similar to what was done in Reston, VA (described in “The Hot Zone”) to definitively kill Ebola Reston at that facility. This is, IMHO, the only thing that will ease people’s minds about Dallas Presby.

A bit of a fly in the soup here is that a bunch of Ebola-laden vomit and poop was flushed into the Dallas sewers. If some from Duncan survived (and I’m praying that more from Nina Pham wasn’t added), then the rats may well have it. I don’t know if rats succumb to Ebola Zaire like us, but being mammals they would likely be carriers...and you simply can’t kill all of the rats. So, IF that is the case, THANKS A F’ING LOAD, pRESIDENT OBOLA, FOR CREATING A NATURAL RESERVIOR OF THIS DISEASE IN OUR NATION...YOU INCOMPETENT DOUCHEBAG, YOU DROOLING IDIOT, YOU PUSTULE ON THE WORLD’S ARSE!
