The fact that 2 healthcare workers now have Ebola even though they were in a highly sterilized hospital environment argues against this quote

Unfortunately they weren’t in an *appropriately* sterilized environment...
The protective gear was simply a gown, gloves, face-mask, and face shield. No shoe covers, no head covers, and it appears that there was inadequate decontamination training/practice.
That said, a lot of the panic-type responses are indeed over the top. The enterovirus going around is far more of a danger for those not actually handling infected ebola patients.
