It’s spin. The statement is that since these were all old weapons, Bush’s rationale for invading was invalid. Neither one of these is actually true: the article admits that Saddam was actively procuring precursors prior to the invasion, and that was NOT Bush’s rationale for invading in any case.
Thanks but why would the Pentagon suppress this news and why would Bush not use the bully pulpit to expose the liars in the media? ( admittedly tougher than it sounds)
