Way past time.
Ebola is the main focus of this thread, but Obama’s policies on border security, the spread of ISIS and crazy green economics are all equally troubling and dangerous.
Biden could not be much of an improvement, he seems equally incompetent and delusional.
You don’t gain anything with John Kerry in charge either.
It seems to argue for an emergency government situation, one that would have to be brought into existence by actions of the Congress after the mid-term elections. I would speculate that no prominent Democrat would be acceptable given the mess, and that perhaps somebody like Cheney might be the person to ask to head up an emergency government. At the same time, it might then be advisable to move the 2016 election to 2015 and perhaps as early as September, to allow a quick return to elected government. The people elected in 2015 would serve an extra year as things returned to normal (and it would be good to give the new administration an extra year, they would need it).
Nor would I just talk about this — action is very much required, the ebola business adds urgency, but this has gone on too long already (some would say six years too long but definitely the mistake of 2012 needs to be corrected very quickly now).
