A man with Ebola-like symptoms is being taken by ambulance to a Boston hospital.
Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, 11 Grossman Drive, was reportedly being evacuated while doctors assessed a possible case of Ebola, according to fire and police radio transmissions from the scene.
A man who recently traveled to West Africa was being isolated outside the center inside an ambulance, according to fire department officials. He is now being escorted by police to a Boston hospital. The driver of the ambulance is wearing a mask and haz mat suit.
The Braintree police and fire departments, Department of Public Health and a haz mat team are responding to the Braintree office.

I was cutting some white onions the other day and could have used that...
Thought my eyes were gonna melt...
You ordered em?
They sell em at Lowes, Home Repot and other hardware stores.
20 for $14.95.
I think thats on the link I posted. I have no idea.
I do know evil is afoot.
There was an article on FR many years ago about that. The author had done a study on mortality rates in sub-Saharan Africa due to infectious diseases pre and post-AIDS. He found that there was no discernible difference. His conclusion was that many deaths attributed to AIDS were just named that to keep foreign money flowing.
In truth it's a scandal that more has not been done about malaria and other endemic diseases in Africa.
> My guess is that 99% of these cases will turn out to either be a common illness or a case of nerves ...
But at the rate unscreened potential carriers are arriving, that could still multiple hot cases per week, each of which will be ignored, bungled or otherwise dealt with imperfectly. Retransmissions are likely to already be in progress on confirmation.
And the other 99% false alarms are phenomenally expensive, every time.
And with the very first case of retrans happening pretty much as the pessimists predicted, and happening to a healthcare worker in full PPE (which I would not have predicted), we’re looking at public safety and healthcare workers who are gonna think long and hard about whether the risk is worth it.
A deadly virus is not a political football....at some point even their diehard base will bring out the pitchforks if this continues to spread. Everyone knows to deal with such a deadly disease you quarantine, even the brain dead.
They are playing a very stupid game with Americans. You have to have a serious plan to deal with Americans and their anger to have started this and deliberately bring it here, as they have by not shutting it down at the source but to allow it to travel. Time for people to start questioning what the agenda is here.
Agree with everything you said. Just noting that I will guess that 9 out of 10 Freep threads on “so and so in (insert State here) taken to hospital with symptoms” will turn out to not be Ebola.
Let’s hope it’s far less than 10% positive.
“Time for people to start questioning what the agenda is here. “
This brings to mind the comment Democrat lefty, Bob Beckel, made on Fox lately that the Democrats had an “October surprise” ready before the November election that was going to involve “national security”. Maybe Obama will declare martial law a couple days before the election based on the Ebola threat, and cancel the election.
I’m waiting for AMA and ANA to demand a travel ban.
So far, it’s way less than 10% of ‘ebola symptoms’ threads that are positive. Only one case so far, thank goodness.
It has already begun (albeit mildly). Hopefully more people than usual will get shots this year.
A micron is a unit of size. That means Ebola can pass through that mask without being caught in the filter.
Ebola is a strange looking virus, it almost looks like a squid, or jellyfish. Able to “squeeze” through things, perhaps this is how fully protected nurses are becoming infected.
I looked on amazon for these bottles and tried Google too. Where do you get these propeller spray bottles?
Seems odd to me Presbyterian would be shut down. Do you have a link? Did they move existing patients out? It is a fairly large hospital with many units completely separated from the contaminated area.
Go for the n100 or p100 if you choose but the theoretical filtration efficiencies for particle sizes are not very applicable to Ebola. You aren't likely to encounter a viable, bare Ebola viron. The virus particle wouldn't 'survive' long if it were unprotected by sputum or similar. I am fully comfortable with my N95s (and do have a few 100s), but don't plan on testing the theory any time soon.
Everyone go on Twitter and write a tweet including #stoptheflights
So we can speak out forcefully. We will have every american on our side from all parties.
Joe Biden says all public librarys should be closed as it was reported Librarians may carry the Obola virus,,,,
