Hey, Seattle City Council, and you, Fawn Sharp, why don't you offer a resolution to change the name of Seattle to the spelling of the Indian Chief the city is named after -- Sealth.
The Sealth Seahawks. I like that.
Bunch of idiots.

Does anyone REALLY celebrate Columbus Day? (aside from unionized and .gov employees)
It’s just an excuse for privileged workers to have a day off. I personally don’t give a rat’s ass about Columbus. He didn’t even land in the CONUS. Why does our country even celebrate him? Well, I basically answered my own question myself with the first sentence in this paragraph.
Columbus day should rank with Ground Hog or St. Patrick’s Day when it comes to ‘holidays’.
I’m generally skeptical of holidays, except for a very select few: Independence Day(celebrating what’s left of our freedom) - even though it’s on the wrong day, Halloween, Thanksgiving(for family and friends), and Christmas(for the kids).
To me the rest of the ‘holidays’ are just an excuse for people to be off work. We shouldn’t need ‘special’ days to honor veterans, or be nice to our significant others. That should be done in some degree or another, EVERY day.

I’ll bet if they could have a hate whitey day they’d feel better. Then again, that’s every day in this great, diverse, vibrant nation of ours.

Now I really hope the Cowboys beat the Seattle Seahawks.
