So even if it isn't transmitted as easily as a cold or stomach virus, it is still able to be transmitted if a person who is infected coughs near you or coughs into their hand and touches something and you touch it right after.

Yes, I think so. So let’s say you were on a flight home to NYC from Germany. A guy who came from Sierra Leone and met his connecting flight to NYC there in Frankfurt is aboard. He’s a little feverish but his advil keeps him under the radar. He’s five rows behind you. Or fifteen. He goes to the restroom, touches a wall while in there. You visit the restroom after he did, your arm touches that same spot, you wash up but not the arm. Later your arm itches, you scratch it. Then you nap, and as you wake, you rub your eye.

Eeeeebola gets in.
