White House National Security Advisor Susan Rice says other countries havent done enough to help stop the deadly disease Ebola from spreading.
We are pushing very hard for everybody to do more. This is going to take all hands on deck, she told NBCs Chuck Todd, in an interview set to air Sunday on Meet the Press.
Ebola has killed more than 4,000 people, mostly centralized to three countries in Western Africa. The outbreak has caused skepticism of international health workers in some of those communities, who fear the workers could be spreading the disease instead of helping cure it.
The outbreak in Africa began in March in Guinea, but has rapidly spread, primarily, to Liberia and Sierra Leone.
The Obama administration has also authorized up to 4,000 American troops to go into West Africa to assist in the effort. A smaller advance team in Liberia is already opening up clinics for infected aid workers and testing labs to expedite patient checks for the disease.
A man who traveled to Dallas from Liberia became the single case of Ebola diagnosed in the United States. He died last week from the illness.
Five U.S. airports are stepping up screening measures on passengers arriving from the mostly Ebola-afflicted countries in Western Africa, in addition to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention testing airport passengers departing the capitals of Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea.
The disease is only spread through contact with bodily fluids of a diseased person, but as those being treated increase beyond hospital capacities, friends and family members are left to care for the ill making it likely they will come into contact with those fluids.
Among the many symptoms of the disease are vomiting and excessive bleeding both internally and through parts of the body, including the eyes and nose.
Its NEVER Obama’s or the other Marxist operatives fault. Never.
Susan Rice’s statements confirm the administration is doing everything it can to make sure ebola spreads as quickly as possible into and throughout the U.S. population.
The Blame Game
Fee, fi, 0bola...
It’s the fault of some rouge agents in an office in Poughkeepsie.
Of course they do. It’s NEVER their fault.
Agree.
Reagan’s fault. He didn’t do enough to stop the spread of AIDS or Ebola.
The Whitey Hut is afraid of being called RACIST if they ban travel from Africa.
Bush’s fault?
Yes means no. Up means down.
Scru u Rice and Zero.
Until you ban travel from those jungle hotspots, you are not to be believed.
Sit down and stfu.
they don’t want it under control.
they’d like to wipe out 50-70% of the world’s population and if they can do it through inaction or while appearing slightly incompetent... they’ll be ‘blameless’ and be able to achieve their goals.
why? they don’t have the money to manage the populations through the policies they’ve promised.
ebola will ravage or wipe out many densely populated nations
here’s my short list:
- brazil
- india
- indonesia
- philippines
- mostly densely populated isles in the south pacific
- dense parts of china
- japan (if it gets in)
- greece
- italy
- dense parts of central and south america
in the US, densely populated/affluent cities:
- new york
- san francisco
- washdc
- chicago
- boston
- los angeles
- atlanta
other main cities:
- london
- paris
- moscow / st petersburg
- johannesburg
- mexico city
sparsely populated areas will be less effected.
i see this happening over the course of 2-5 years
just remember who brought it to our shores.
don’t let them away with it
Administration of Whiners.
No leadership.
Embarrassing.
this cannot be.
The idiot-in-chief already told us
” I want to thank Dr. Frieden and everybody here at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for welcoming me here today. Tom and his team just gave me an update on the Ebola outbreak in West Africa, our efforts to help mobilize the international community to fight it, and the steps that were taking to keep people here at home safe.
Tom and his team are doing outstanding work. Between the specialists they have on the ground in West Africa and here at headquarters, theyve got hundreds of professionals who are working tirelessly on this issue. This is the largest international response in the history of the CDC.”
And lied to us Americans by saying “the chances of an Ebola outbreak here in the United States are extremely low.”

You are aware that fits in somewhat with the Georgia Guide Stones?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georgia_Guidestones
“Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.”
That’s about right - all those other countries have been refusing to close our borders or to institute no-entry policies for our country - I’ll bet Bush put them up to it.
Liars reap what they sow.
You can’t do what they’ve done and have things turn out well for you.
Being stupid enough to pay attention to a man dedicating his book to the father of all lies is exactly the wrong decision to make.
This includes you, Ayers, and everyone who trained you.
Common sense died again with this issue. If you had a child who had measles you’re not going to send him back to school to infect the other children. You wouldn’t be able to anyways because the school officials would send him right back home. Why then can’t that simple logic be applied here? The Ebola patients should not be allowed to leave their country of origin. We should not allow these people into our country. Let the WHO, CDC, and whatever other health agencies who want to assist go to Liberia, Sierra Leone, and the other western African nations suffering with Ebola. Containing the disease in its countries of origin is how you stop this. Oh, who am I kidding. We’re all talking in a vacuum here. This is all politically motivated.
I think Obama and Valerie Jarret honestly think that white America needs to understand the black man’s plight first hand by having to fend off ebola.
I think they want it this way.
Of course it’s Bush’s fault. If he had not spend all that money for AIDS prevention in Africa, there would be money left to fight EBOLA.
