I bet many of these “same-sex” relationships are not truly initially caused by a seeking out of someone the same sex, but were enticed to experiment by a deranged friend or group of friends.

I saw this thirty years ago when I was in college, majoring in theater (and thus getting to watch some rare “drama!”). Some of the gays I knew seemed so dyed-in-the-wool homosexual that it made it easy to believe they’d been born that way. But others were pursued and persuaded. It wasn’t pretty.
I've seen this myself, of gals pursued by other gals of a lesbo persuasion. That's what homosexuals try to do, to increase their numbers. Probably less than 1 percent of born individuals are true homosexuals. They try to convert straights to up their numbers. And it seems to work, to a small extent. Some gals I know wised up and discarded their lesbo friends, and then sought relationships with men, got married and never went back to lesbians. Probably easier for women to switch back to being straight. I don't know about gay men - I keep my distance and don't ask.
