Yes. There are loads of good cops. Even though I run the JBT ping list, in nearly every single encounter I’ve had with the police, they have been fair, honest and straightforward.
The vanishingly few instances where it wasn’t perfect have been mild and subject to more charitable interpretations.
That’s why I shine the spotlight on every episode of thuggish behavior under color of authoritah that I come across, sunlight is a disinfectant!
In my area, the cop would have ticketed her, berated her, and called CPS.
