"CE" (Common Era) and "BCE" (Before the Common Era) were abbreviations that began with British Jews in the early 19th Century, and spread to American Jews shortly thereafter. Jews in England and America were participating in public life with their Christian fellow-citizens (unlike in most of Europe, where Jews were often isolated in ghettos), so they needed to use the same dates as everyone else, but they could not in good conscience acknowledge a "Lord" they didn't believe in. Hence "Common Era."

Muslims (NOT "Moslems) don't REALLY give a hoot about the usage of B.C. or A.D. and there IS NO hatred of Jesus. He is called "Issa" in their language.
There is/was a California congressmen named Daryll Issa, Daryll Jesus.
Hispanic folks OFTEN name their sons Hay-sus, or Jesus.
The Muslims know all about Issa/Jesus and know that He is the son of Mariam and Yusef and respect Him very much. You will often see things and places named after ISSA.
It's my read that the Jewish Israelis don't care either, as long as they continue to get half of our foreign aid, the latest fighter jets and training of said pilots. As long as they are in control of their land, why WOULD they care about what a bunch of dirty, stinking Muslims think about them? God gave THEM that land and to heck with anyone who would take it away from them.
Israel DOES have a TINY problem getting the Jews of the world to live over there beyond a few months of the year. The pleasant weather in the middle east winters allow them to get AWAY from the cold and snow of the U.S.A. Not ALL of the New Yorkers go to Florida.
For SOME odd reason, Jewish Americans seem to want to stay in America for most of the year. Who can blame them?
