I doubt that many Presidents even witnessed “bar room fights”. I’ll give you US Grant in maybe an Army setting but, for the rest, probably not involved in or witnesses to brawls. True “Gentlemen” avoid trouble and thus remain gentlemen. I still think that most of our presidents are gentlemen.
