Essentially, that is the big question. The Republican Party is merely the Republican Division of Democrat Party, Inc. It does not matter what comes of the elections in November. The border will not be fixed. Amnesty in some form will finally be passed. Obamacare will not be ended or even crimped. Nothing else matters. The outcome of the election in two years will be the same, no matter who wins the presidency and the Congress.

I wonder if defunding Obamacare, closing the borders, cutting government spending, lowering taxes, abolishing a few gov’t agencies, and prosecuting his administration for their crimes would be considered score settling

If there is one single thing that McConnell does well as Majority Leader, it better be to restore regular order to the Senate, pass REAL budget bills that conservatives can stand behind, and make Obama veto one after another after another.

Then challenge the Democrats to override the vetoes for the sake of the American people.

This should be the Republican Congressional agenda for the next two years in the run up to the 2016 Presidential campaign.

Solution: start an American conservative political party.

The GOP is terminal. 2014 is their last gasp, and with Tokyo Rove at the helm, they have just as much chance as losing as winning.

Ina year when it should be a blowout for the GOP.

Some architect.

I agree with Rove to a point.

Republicans and Conservatives need to be strategic and tactical. Picking a fight isn’t the approach. The idea is to make him President “NO”. NO ideas, NO answers.

Keystone Pipeline means jobs and energy independence. Make him say YES or NO.
Keep Your Doctor Healthcare. Make him say YES or NO.
Link UNSECURED borders to the growing threat of Ebola and other diseases. Make him say YES or NO to securing the border.

Beat him at “CHESS” and don’t engage him in a game of “CHICKEN”.

Rove needs to be gone.
He does much more harm than good.
He’s 64 years old and has a fat wallet.
Just go somewhere and retire.

If only there was a journalist that would be right instead of left. A right journalist could have asked, ‘Karl, do you think obama should be left free to continue his policies or should Congress restrain obama?

The Republican Party (sic) has had the power of the purse for two years and has not done anything with that very real power to put the brakes on the New Socialism. Why would we think they will do anything to hinder it just because Rove and Boehner and McConnell have a majority? or even the Presidency (Bush, Romney)?

If the GOPs RINOcrats win the Senate, the GOPe will be further convinced that it doesn't need the conservative base and will pass the leftist agenda, including Obama's nominations.

Don't believe me? Even now the Republican leadership is lowering expectations about what they'll do if they take the Senate in 2014.

You worried about a Democrat Senate approving Obama's judicial nominees? Well maybe you should listen to John McCain saying what will happen if the Republicans win the Senate: “I will work very hard to go back to 60 votes,” said Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), who boldly predicts a Republican Senate would process Obama’s nominees “more rapidly than [Democrats] do today.”

And as for the House: John Boehner: ‘Very Few’ Republicans Will Oppose Me

So tell me again how much better off we'll be voting for the RINOs.

If it wins the Senate, the current Republican leadership and RINOcrat candidates will do nothing to save our nation (assuming it is still capable of being saved), and the anger of the electorate will be aimed at them in 2016, as Hillary comes in and promises to save us.

And she will probably win, unless the GOP valiantly articulates, expresses and supports conservative candidates and the conservative agenda and has a credible conservative firebrand -- preferably Ted Cruz -- running against her.

If, on the other hand, the GOPe RINOcrats lose the general election, they will be forced to move immediately to the so-called "Right," and their their proven-loser moderate mainstream candidates (Romney, Christie, Bush, Huckabee) will never get past the primaries in 2016.

And Karl Rove will be a distant memory.

So which is better, if we win the Senate now or lose it?

Honestly, long term, I think it's better that we lose it this time.

I have no interest in settling scores with America’s most dangerous enemy in history. All I want to do is repeal Obamacare, cut spending, and bring FedGov back within the limits of the Enumerated Powers.

“The issue is that it wouldn’t be “score settling”. It would be “problem fixing”.”

“Problem fixing” will be seen as “score settling” by those with a “progressive agenda” I believe rove is more concerned with the power and authority of who carries out the “progressive agenda” than the agenda itself. POKR

Passing legislation will BE “score-settling-Because the irresponsible and illicit “laws” that “O” put through were HIS broadside on establishment, mainstream AMERICA!

Those legislative crimes HAVE TO BE REVERSED! That will BE score-settling, just as “O” meant HIS criminal and flawed administration IN TOTAL to be ‘score-settling’ of the crudest and most lawless kind!
