From all I’ve read the ebola tests can tell in 2 or 3 hours, some 30 minutes. Why are we still in the dark?

Scare and no facts.

The test is notorious for false negatives.

They have already confirmed it is not Ebola. Patient had been in contact with someone from Africa and was exhibiting symptoms, but it was not the right region of Africa, and testing was negative.

Having browsed thru a lot of ebola threads on FR, I noticed a lot of freepers talking about these false negatives, so I did a google search of ebola false negative and got a lot of hits from right wing political sites.

It must be a rightwing talking point.
