Uh, no.

Regarding the meretricious distinction between agape and eros, I reject it. Any love that doesn't seek the good of the other, instead of using him or her for one's own purposes, isn't worthy of the name.

God made the distinctions because the men he wrote the NT through used specific terms. The english translators were sloppy and used one generic word to replace three or four different words.

Not all love is unconditional. Not all love is the same. The love for a friend, or for a baby, or for mankind in general, are not the same. They have common aspects but they have different qualities that set them apart.
