Perforated stomach, bleeding varices, obstructed bowel with ischemia...quite a number of things could have caused this illness...we’ll have to wait for the autopsy.
Autopsies are extremely dangerous (read the Hot Zone). The best thing to do is draw some blood and send it to the lab to look for the virus.
