Very true-everyone reacts differently to it as with any illness/virus—also his eyes could have been bloodshot due to petechial hemorrhage from vomiting violently, but as you said: we just don’t know.

And the fact that there is no “magic” cure for Ebola is what makes it so scary—it isn’t a guarantee of survival just because someone gets ZMapp and someone doesn’t...for people to make this racial is absolutely sickening and I have been reading comments here and there on the web all day saying Duncan died because he was black-and this after all of the FREE care he received where people put them self at risk—and we all know that’s the ONLY reason Jesse is around—I see a candlelight vigil in the future...

....”everyone reacts differently to it as with any illness/virus”....

Right....as well the medication and dosage of whatever given to combat this.....not to mention the individuals own immune system itself. Some will be sicker faster than others and others will walk away from this as well...unfortunately most in Africa don't.

I'm so infuriated with people raising race about this....and the more people make issue about it the less I could care about other races......minorites are squawking about every thing now and they sound all sound like the welfare complainers. No matter what you do to help they'll complain. Frankly if I was a Dr. the last patient I'd want is one of another nationality today.....and especially one without Insurance looking for a reason to sue....and there are more of these then people realize.

Gut tells me this is going to play out poorly for us Obola subjects.
Wondering if fellow FReepers, loved ones and family have got appropriate preps in order?
Judging by developing news, increasing public awareness will result in higher demand / diminishing availability on essential items, ie: N95 / 100 masks, Nitrile gloves, goggles, Tyvek coveralls, cases of water, hand sanitizer, bleach, etc.
As of yesterday a Los Angeles county suburb orange box home center still had a few packages of masks, goggles, gloves and Tyvek coveralls, after I made my personal purchase.
BTW: when cashier asked if I was a painter, I told her the supplies were for Ebola. Her response was: Who’s that?

Just-in-time supply chains are short and MSM is stirring the pot: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/10/08/us-ebola-gear_n_5945544.html

Also, FYI and for prep’s - there’s an article from the NIH that indicates Melatonin may be effective in treating Ebola:
Ebola virus disease: Potential use of melatonin as a treatment - Sep 27, 2014
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25262626

Sure hope this burns out quickly and is much ado about nothing...
